Hope Dental Centre Mwanza is a state of art clinic with registration number 193215 of 25th March 2005 from the Tanzania Ministry of Health. It started its operation in 2005 under the management of Bridge2Aid (UK Charitable Organization) with the aim of supporting its programs in training of rural clinical officers in emergence dentistry.

The clinic was set up originally with dental equipment donated by the UK dental industry, and Ian and Andie Wilson, and Mark and Jo Topley did an amazing job of making it fulfil all of the original aims.

For a sustainability point of view, from 2017 our local organization (Education and Health for all) did take over to continue with the aims of both to raise funds to help support the charitable education and health programmes of EH4ALL and also to provide dental services to the people of Mwanza.

The clinic is located inside the shopping Mall second floor Wing A and its close to a pharmacy and eye clinic.

Our clinic offers a wide range of treatment to cover both condition manageable by a general dentists to specialized services including orthodontics.

We also conduct outreach services to mining companies once a week to provide dental educative and treatment services to its staff and surrounding community

For the first ten years of Hope’s existence, a number of UK expat clinicians worked full-time in the clinic. From 2014 this input was reduced to having occasional visiting locum dentists support a full-time East African clinical team.

We still welcome expats to locuming at Hope dental centre to support our work also support our local team.If you are interested with locuming and help to support our education and health programmes please let us know by emailing admin@eh4all.or.tz
